The Norwegian University of Life Sciences and the Universities of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), Lilongwe University of Aquaculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR), University of Edwardo Mondlane (UEM), Mbeya University of Science and Technology (MUST), Egerton University (EU), University of Zambia (UNZA), Makerere University (MU) and University of Nairobi (UoN) are implementing a project titled “Enhanced Capacity for Aquatic Resources in East and South Africa (ECARESA)”. This is a 6-year project that is being implemented with financial support from the Royal Kingdom of Norway under NORAD’s NORHED II Program. Research activities under this project are focusing on aquaculture, aquatic health, ecotoxicology, diseases and Anti-Microbial Resistance (AMR).
