• Prof. Temu attended 3^rd workshop on enhancing engineering education in East Africa, from 26 – 27 Feb 2015, Eldoret Kenya
• Miss Adela Syikilili attended training on Natural gas value chain at Protea Courtyard hotel, Dar es Salaam from 9-12 February, 2015.
• Dr. Kibazohi attended a conference on banana juice technology in Nairobi on 23^rd to 27^th February, 2015.
• Mr. Oras Mkinga attended a conference on Getenergy VTEC Africa 2015 in Mwalimu Nyerere International Convention Center on 10^th – 12^th March, 2015.
• Ms Neema Msuya attended AAHEP/MOEVT training workshop on PhD program for scientists’ women at Protea Courtyard hotel, Dar es Salaam from 6-7 Feb 2015.
• Alice Isibika and Magreth Dotto attended on female engineers workshop that was held in Bagamoyo on 5th May 2015
• Dr. Itika participated in the drafting of the Natural Gas Utilization Master Plan that was being coordinated by the Ministry of Energy and Minerals from 29th April to 9th May 2015 in Dar es Salaam.
• Prof. Katima participated on an Expert Meeting of the best available Techniques and Best Environmental Practices Expert Group for the Minamata Mercury Convention in Pretoria, S. Africa from 1-7 March, 2015. He also attended African Regional meeting on Nanotechnology and Nanomaterial in Lusaka, Zambia from 14 -18 April, 2015. He attended a strategic Approach for International Chemical Management (SAICM) Bureau meeting in Geneva, Switzerland from 28 – 01April, 2015
• Prof. Temu attended a retreat to Bagamoyo for development of guidelines for deployment of postgraduate students as teaching assistants from 16th to 19th April, 2015. He also travelled to Eldoret, Kenya for external examination duty at Moi University from 10th to 16th July 2015
