Programme Type : Post Graduate Programme Duration : 24 Months Academic Unit : College Of Natural And Applied Sciences

Entry requirements

An applicant must hold a first degree majoring in biochemistry, chemistry, biology, microbiology, biotechnology, chemical engineering, nutrition science, environmental and health science, veterinary medicine, nursing, pharmacy, animal science, or medicine. An applicant holding a Pass degree can be admitted provided she/he has an overall grade of B or higher in the said courses at the Undergraduate level.

Programme Requirements

For a candidate to be awarded a MSc in Biochemistry (Coursework and Dissertation), he/she must earn a minimum of 180 credits of which a minimum of 120 credits are from coursework and 60 credits from the dissertation. Students will be compelled to do a minimum of 60 credits per semester.
