Mr. Abel Ahungu is currently an assistant lecturer in the Department of Zoology and Wildlife Conservation, College of Natural and Applied Sciences, of the University of Dar Es Salaam. He has been a member of staff at UDSM since 2015 where he currently conducts research, carries out consultants, and teaches and supervises undergraduate students. Mr. Ahungu holds a bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Science and Conservation, 2010 from the University of Dar es Salaam. Mr. Ahungu completed his MSc in Life Sciences and Bioengineering in 2024, from the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) Arusha, Tanzania. He then joined the Northeast Normal University, Jilin, China for Ph.D. studies in Ecology.
