Ms. Regina F. Irunde is a laboratory scientist at chemistry department, CoNAS, University of Dar es Salaam. She holds a Master of Science in Chemistry of the University of Dar es Salaam where she specialized on organic synthesis of medicinal active tetralone compounds under supervision of Dr. Quintino A. Mgani and Dr. Stephene S. Nyandoro.

Ms. Regina is now studying geogenic arsenic contamination in water sources around gold mining areas in Geita and Mara-Tanzania and removal mechanisms which will fulfil her PhD thesis by 2022 at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden.

As a laboratory scientist, Ms. Regina is responsible for all laboratory activities, assisting academic staff on research activities and organizing practical for undergraduate students.
