Clement Mromba working in the Department of Geography of the University of Dar es Salaam, has academic specialization in Hydrology and Water Resources Management with orientation in quantitative research. He has BA. in Geography and Environmental Studies-University of Dar es Salaam (2007), MSc. in Integrated Watershed Management-Kenyatta University (2012) and PhD. Climate Change-University of Dar es Salaam (2019). He attended scholarly exchange programs at Freie Universität Berlin-Germany (2011), Universität Oldenburg-Germany (2013), Norwegian University of Life Science-Norway (2016), and Humboldt Universität zu Berlin-Germany (2017). Most of his research and consultancy works are in the area of Hydrology, Climate Change. His research and consultancy works include; Socio-economic Impact of hydro-AID project for Hale hydroelectric power plant in Tanga, Tanzania; Cumulative Impact Assessment (CIA) and Environmental Impact Assessment for water abstractions for proposed development of Azerai Kiligolf Hotels in Meru District, Tanzania; dam construction to capture runoff for irrigated farming on Mgagao farm in Iringa-Tanzania; water withdrawal for irrigated straw bell farms in Sanya juu villages in Hai-Tanzania, hydrological assessment for construction of 950kW Hydro-plant along Ruhuhu river for Ndolela farm operations in Madaba-Tanzania, dam construction for irrigated farming on Msugulika and Ulete farms in Iringa-Tanzania; hydrological modelling of Sigi river in Tanga-Tanzania; hydrological assessment for the proposed expansion of irrigated cropping and livestock keeping on Ndolela farm (5,340 ha) in Songea District, Tanzania; hydrological assessment for Rain-fed cropping and Livestock Keeping on Ludodolelo Farm in Makete District, Tanzania.
