Jonas Jackson Kinanda, born 12th February, 1982, currently a PhD candidate in the School of Education and Assistant Lecturer of Psychology in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He pioneered research into mental health, per service teachers’ career development, and students’ behaviours. His PhD research is concerned with teachers’ role in managing students’ disruptive behaviours. His current research interests include teachers’ support and mentor-ship, behavioural change, social psychology, positive psychology, career development and guidance and counselling.
