On April 25, 2023 Chang'ombe demonstration secondary school hosted its 15th graduation ceremony at the school campus grounds. The event was honored by TRA Regional Taxpayer Education Manager, Mr. Stephen Kauzeni. Other delegates who attended the event include the Tax Payer Education Officer, Mr. Abdala Seif, the Chairman of the School Board, Mr. Kessy Mkambala, Parents’ representatives, and few staff from neighboring schools.
Speaking during the event, Mr. Kauzeni congratulated the school management for the excellent preparation of Form Six graduation ceremony. In addition, he congratulated teachers, parents and guardians for making sure that students acquire the best education in a conducive environment. He also urged the form six students who will soon sit the A’level examination that upon completion of their studies, they should be good tax payer ambassadors by educating the community on the culture of fulfilling tax obligations.
Earlier, the Headmistress of Chang'ombe Secondary School, Ms. Zahra Shaabani congratulated the graduates for their patience since only 78 students out of 84 managed to graduate. He further, applauded their good performance in form six mock examinations that was conducted in Dar es Salaam. He said such significant achievement has raised the school's G.P.A from 3.3 in 2022 to 2.9 in 2023.
