Chang’ombe secondary school tax club has recently won the tax quiz competition organized by Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA).

The tax club coordinator of Chang’ombe sec school, Mr. Mramba said the tax club involves a group of students organized to share diverse skills and knowledge on tax related issues.

He said the club aims at building young generation with a culture of fulfilling tax obligations as soon as they start generating or receiving income.

“…As the third winner, we have been awarded a trophy, medals, cups, a wall clock, a desk top computer and a certificate of appreciation…’’ Mr. Mramba insisted.

He further said, winners were given an opportunity to participate in other TRA events, including Sabasaba exhibitions, tax payers’ day and customs’ day.

Speaking during a brief meeting, the College Principal, Prof. Stephen Maluka congratulated the team for the achievement and hailed the club for marketing the school and the college at large.
