Senior Lecturer in the Department of History, Political Science and Development Studies, Dar Es Salaam University College Of Education
Education:

PhD in Public Administration, MA in Political Science & Public Administration and BA in Political Science & Public Administration from University of Dar es Salaam.

Projects:

1. Participated in the Study on Local Governance and Democratization in Tanzania, 2012-2016. The study was financed by ICLD in Sweden and Undertaken by staff from the University of Dar es Salaam and the University of Linnaeus Sweden (As a researcher)

2. Evaluated the Tanzania Centre for Democracy’s District Dialogue Fora project, 2016

3. Participated in the study on voter turnout in 2011 under the support of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)

4. Participated in the electoral violence study in 2011 under the sponsorship of  UNDP

5. Facilitated the establishment of Tanzania Centre for Democracy’s District Dialogue fora in several districts, 2013 to 2016.

6. Conducted a training needs assessment and preparation of a training and development plan for procurement and supplies officers in the government (as a team member), 2014. Sponsored by the ministry of finance

7. A member of the Task Team assigned to undertake Capacity Needs Assessment for the Zanzibar Planning Commission, Office of the Chief Government Statistician and the Department of External Finance of the Ministry of Finance from November 2013 to January 2014.

8. Trained leaders of political parties before the 2015 general elections. The training was sponsored by NIMD and managed by Tanzania Centre for Democracy

9. Participated in the preparation of Human Resource Strategy for the Zanzibar Port Cooperation (ZPC) in November 2013.

10. 2020 Party Primaries and Internal Party Democracy in Tanzania ( Ongoing)
