UNIVERSITY STUDENT'S ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC SYMPOSIUM (USASS) The Standing Committee of Research Exchange (SCORE) under the University of Dar es Salaam Medical Students' Association (UDAMSA alias TAMSA UDSM) from Mbeya College of Health and Allied Sciences (UDSM-MCHAS) presents the First University Student's Annual Scientific Symposium (USASS) which will be held on the 18th & 19th April 2020 in Mbeya.

THEME: "Undergraduate Medical Research for Better Medical Doctors"

Participant of the Symposium is Medical Students, Students of Allied Sciences all over Tanzania and International Students from neighbouring countries.
Different keynote speakers and judges who are prominent personnel in the health sector will be present including some high ranking figures in the country.

Different categories will be contested for, including;

1.Research
2.Case Presentations (Clinical students)
3.Influential Matters and pictorial presentations
4.School Recognition/ Department Recognition
5. Poster presentations

We are therefore calling upon all of those who are interested to take part in this symposium in any of the above-mentioned categories.
The Academic Committee is ready to receive all of the presentations starting from now till the deadline on 31st March 2020 at 2359hrs 

For those wishing to contest in "Research Category" prepare an abstract of not more than 300 words with clearly and briefly stated Background, Methodology, Results, Conclusion and Recommendation.

For the Pictorial Presentation, you are required to use "ORIGINAL PICTURE" made by the presenter.

N.B: Images downloaded from the Internet are not recommended!

All the successful presenters will be informed as early as possible and will be invited for preparatory training.
