At present, we offer Chinese Elective Course Basic I, Basic II and Intermediate I for the students of Ardhi University.
Excellent students
1. Yunduo
Yunduo is an excellent student who studied Chinese in Ardhi University, opening a door leading to a new world. Through her hard working and the help of Chinese teachers, she participated in the Chinese Bridge Competition in 2017 and 2018, and achieved good result. Right now, she already got the scholarship to study one year in Zhejiang Normal University. Also, there are some other students who attended HSK test and gained the awards.
Cultural activities
The Chinese Class in Ardhi University holds an activity every month to introduce the Chinese culture, to show the unique things from China. Sometimes students share their experience of how to study Chinese in the activity etc. The students are very active for attending the activities, through which they can know more about China. These activities also help promoting cultural exchange between the two countries.
School environment
Ardhi University (ARU) is a public university in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. It was established on 28th March, 2007. It is situated on Observation Hill close to University of Dar es Salaam. Today, academic activities at the university are generated in six schools such as: School of Architecture and Design, School of Construction Economics and Management. The campus is very beautiful with plenty of trees. The construction of the teaching building is also good. The classrooms are neat and bright. There are blackboard and Projection screen which is helpful for class teaching.
