HURON University College and -IDS Collaborative project on “Building Civil Society Capacity for Poverty Reduction” expired in 2013. This project which was funded under CIDA Tier 2 projects through AUCC of Canada facilitated us with a number of academic and dissemination activities. Above all, this project included an outreach activity in the Maasai inhabited Monduli District where efforts were made to strengthen communication for rural development by supporting village information officers and outreach to support childrens’ learning at Bagamoyo public library
