A Guide to Commonly Occurring Larval Stages of Fishes in Kenyan and Tanzanian Offshore Waters

Summary Description

This manual is motivated by the need to develop regional capacity in larval fish identification and learn more about fish systematics and early life history science of coastal and offshore fish. The guide will feature samples collected from offshore Kenyan waters 12-300 nm from the coastline collected by RV Mtafiti  and those collected by RV Dr Fridtjof Nansen from  Tanzania leg of the  cruise and archived at  IMS Tanzania, in order to describe the larval pool from the WIO region.
