Ministry of Gender and Special Groups is one of twelve (12) Ministries of Students’ Government University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) that is DARUSO Mlimani 2023/20224. The Ministry of Gender and special groups at the University of Dar es Salaam performs several activities in it's a day to day activities.

 

The Ministry is largely focusing on every issue pertaining to Gender, this includes:

• Fighting against Gender Violence at the University Campus.
• Preparation of forums for discussion on how we can maintain Gender equality at University and out of the University.

 

Also, the Ministry is focusing on Students with Special needs at the University Campus and out of the University. This is through

• Organizing Forums and events that will help them raise their Voices to society as one of the ways, to help them out.
• Ensuring that all students with special needs are treated equally and participate in all University activities.
• Ensuring that all students with special needs get special care at the University Campus.
