On 20th February 2020, the University of Dar es Salaam launched the Master's Degree in Intellectual Property (MIP) Programme. The Degree is jointly offered by the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and the Business Registration and Licensing Agency (BRELA) - Intellectual Property Office of Tanzania.
