This is to inform the University community and the entire public that on 27th January 2020, Prof Kennedy Gaston was sworn-in by the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, His Excellency Dr John Pombe Joseph Magufuli as Permanent Representative of Tanzania to the United Nations. 

Until his appointment to an ambassadorial position, Prof Gaston was an Associate Professor of Law at the School. He was also serving as the General Secretary to the Asian-African Legal Consultative Organization (AALCO).

The Dean of the University of Dar es Salaam School of Law, the Management and all members of staff wish Ambassador Prof. Dr. Kennedy all the best in his new responsibilities.
