I have mechanical engineering first degree background. My master's, doctoral and postdoctoral research focused on materials science and engineering; developing and characterizing polymer composites majoring on polymers derived from renewable plant resources. Teaching activities cover core subjects of materials technology and mechanics. Current interest is on multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary research include materials processing and characterizations; biowastes to materials development, polymer and bio-composites, aerosols filtration; metallurgy, corrosion and corrosion control technology, nano technology; and materials for energy applications. The main focus on multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary research. Majority of my publication's records cover some of these research areas.
