Call for Papers: CUPEA – Africa in the Contemporary International Arena (2026)
The University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) invites its academic staff, researchers, and postgraduate scholars to submit original and unpublished manuscripts in response to an Open Call for Papers issued by our partner institution for publication in Cuadernos de Política Exterior Argentina (CUPEA), Issue No. 143.
This call is part of the growing academic cooperation between UDSM and the Centro de Estudios en Relaciones Internacionales de Rosario (CERIR), and aims to promote scholarly exchange and joint knowledge production within the framework of our newly established cooperation agreement.
Thematic Focus
The forthcoming CUPEA issue will feature a thematic dossier on Africa in the contemporary international arena, welcoming multidisciplinary perspectives that analyze the continent’s evolving role in global affairs.
Submissions may address, but are not limited to, the following themes:
- Recent political and social processes in Africa
- Trade, investment, and economic development
- Africa and international cooperation: actors, agendas, and partnerships
- Africa’s role in global governance, South–South cooperation, and multipolarity
- Regional integration initiatives, including the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA)
