The African Academy of Sciences’ (AAS) is a Pan-African scientific organization established to promote and foster the growth of the scientific community in Africa by recognizing, supporting, and promoting excellence in scientific research performed by African scientists. In achieving its strategic mandates of advancing science, technology and innovation (STI), AAS organizes a 16th Biennial Scientific Conference themed Science, Technology, and Innovation for Sustainable Development and Economic Prosperity in Africa.
