Our Master’s programmes are multidisciplinary — graduates of any field may apply.

Master's Degree

M.A. Information Studies

  • 18 months full-time (9 months coursework, 9 months dissertation)
  • 27 units: 23 compulsory, 4 optional
  • Open to graduates of any degree programme

Provides advanced knowledge in Library and Information Science to prepare graduates to work as librarians and information scientists in libraries and information units.

Master's Degree

M.A. Records and Archives Management

  • Regular and Evening programmes
  • Lectures, practicals and seminars
  • First degree in any field, Lower Second / GPA 2.7+

Builds competence in records and archives management standards, tools and techniques — including developing records management systems and designing databases for records and archival services.
