Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Development Studies: The current PhD programme is based on research and writing of a thesis. This is done under close supervision and lasts for three years. Development studies being interdisciplinary, candidates can select research topics for their theses from issues of development significance especially, but not limited to, the IDS research agenda.
