Mr. BeforeNavwa M. Wamunza serves as a Senior Administrative Officer I (SAO-I) at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), where he is responsible for human resource and administrative management within the Directorate of Research and Publication (DRP). A UDSM alumnus, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Language Studies and a Certificate of Proficiency in Human Resource Management from the Tanzania Public Service College (TPSC). Prior to his civil service career, Mr. Wamunza gained experience in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. His university tenure includes roles in the Quality Assurance Bureau, the Office of the Vice Chancellor, and the Directorate of Internationalization, Convocation and Advancement.

In his current capacity, he ensures compliance with institutional policies, manages research-related documentation and reporting, and provides logistical and financial support. His responsibilities also encompass data management, stakeholder communication, staff training and development, grant administration, and the dissemination of research findings, all contributing to the Directorate's operational efficiency and the University's research impact.
