G.E Edina Mawala is a Tutorial Assistant in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Dar es Salaam. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Production Engineering at the same institution. 

Her teaching and research experience include mechanical design, production engineering and materials engineering. She is developing a strong interest in machine optimization and process optimization within the mechanical engineering field. 

Edina is a registered Graduate Mechanical Engineer with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) and is proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks and ANSYS. She is committed to expanding her expertise in mechanical design, optimization and manufacturing.
