Amina Kiluwasha is an experienced instructional designer and e-learning specialist with over 15 years of expertise in educational technology and multimedia content development. She currently serves at the University of Dar es Salaam’s Center for Virtual Learning (CVL), where she manages and trains users on the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS), supports online course creation, and contributes to national and international digital education initiatives. Amina holds a Master of Multimedia in E-Learning Technologies from Multimedia University in Malaysia and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Dar es Salaam. Her career began as a software developer and system administrator, eventually transitioning to e-learning and digital pedagogy. She has facilitated numerous training programs across Tanzania, equipping educators, institutions, and government agencies with skills in online course design, facilitation, and multimedia integration. Amina has played key roles in several large-scale educational projects, including initiatives led by the World Bank, Tanzania Institute of Education (TIE), and Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI). Her professional interests lie in the use of technology to enhance teaching and learning, particularly in developing engaging, accessible, and scalable digital education content.
