QS. Geng. Dr. Mhenga Agneta is a Petroleum Production Engineer and a Quantity Surveyor holding a PhD and MSc in Oil and Gas Field Development Engineering from China University of Petroleum, China. Dr. Mhenga Agneta is working as a Lecturer at the University of Dar es salaam in the Petroleum Sciences Engineering Department, school of Geoscience and Mining. 

She is an author of the recent book titled “An African Youth’s Journey into Building a Better Tomorrow: An inspiration from Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan”. A book that depicts on how youth can navigate through unemployment challenge and how they make the most of the government and private sector’s initiatives to help youth. 

Dr. Mhenga is a certified Executive Woman leader graduated from Uongozi Institute. She is a clean energy expert, researcher and a reviewer of potential energy journals. Dr. Mhenga is an elected Deputy Honorary Secretary of the Tanzania Institute of Quantity Surveyors. Dr.  Mhenga is a public speaker possessing good presentation skills which made her a two times award winner of the international best conference paper presentation awards in United Kingdom and in China. 

Dr. Mhenga has worked as a Project Manager for WEZESHA BINTI project funded by Enabel for the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology; to review designs and supervise construction of five dormitories and 25 wash facilities to be constructed in 25 schools located in 5 districts of Kigoma Region.
