Evarist Petro Mwaigaga

Biography

Evarist Petro Mwaigaga was born on December 20, 1984, in Mbeya, Tanzania. He received the B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in electrical power engineering from the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, in 2014. In 2015, he joined the University of Dar es Salaam as a Tutorial Assistant and was later promoted to Assistant Lecturer in 2021. He earned his M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the School of Electrical Engineering, Shandong University, Jinan, China, in 2021. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at the same institution.

Research Interest

His research interests include advanced control strategies for high-performance PMSM drives, as well as electromagnetic noise and vibration analysis in permanent magnet synchronous machines (PMSMs).
