Mr. Stanley Chungu is a Laboratory Science, Electronics/Telecommunication and Scientific computing expert. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Scientific Computing from the University of Dar es Salaam, Full Technician in Laboratory Science and Electronics Engineering from Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT), a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from the Open University -Tanzania, Certificate in Radio and TV broadcasting Engineering from Helsinki University of Technology, Certificate in Soundproofing and sound technology from Tampere University (Finland), Certificate in Video production and Editing from Memorial University of New Found land-Canada. He is the senior head of Technical and Studio Instructor/Technician at the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. He has served as the Acting Mlimani Media Manager and Instructor for seven years, worked as Radio technician at Radio Tanzania (RTD) for three years, Instrumentation and Refinery Operation in charge at Murzah Oil Limited, Instrumentation technician at Unilevar Kenya Ltd for two years also worked with US. Embassy Dar es Salaam as the Audio Visual and VOA technical specialist. He is specialist in Radio, TV, Satellite, VLSI, Fibre and Radar Communication systems, He is consultant in Radio and Television establishiment, Broadcasting equipment evaluation and Sound proof expert. He serves University of Dar es Salaam workers council for 17 years. He is also a Public administrator and Human Resource Management, Industrial Relation professional, Project management expert. Mr.Chungu worked as consultant in building capacity to staff of Kwarara Media Education Centre (KMEC) in Zanzibar in field of Radio and Television broadcasting transmission, production and Media Management. Also participated in establishing and technical advisory for many Radio and Television stations in Tanzania.
