Josephat M.G. Buhenyenge

Josephat Buhenyenge QLA (2022); MA-PA (2011-2013); BA- Ed (PSAPA) (2005-2008) is the Administration and Human Resource Specialist, a member of the Association of Tanzania Public Administration and Human Resources (TAPAHR), attended and Qualified Law for Administrative Officers (QLA).

Mr. Buhenyenge has more than 17 years’ experience in Administration and Human Resource Management and performing various human resource and labour relations. He has served under University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), The University of Dodoma (UDOM) and the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) into different roles since graduated his Bachelor and Master degree of Arts in the field Social Sciences of Political Science and Public Administration, Human Resource Management and Education from the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) Tanzania in 2008 and 2013 respectively.

Mr. Buhenyenge served as Students Loan Liaison Officer with HESLB-UDSM (2008-2011), Head of Section (Senate and Examinations) 2013-2018, Head Senate, and CoD Secretariat, (2013-2018), Manager JP Magufuli Hostel (2017-2018), Deputy Manager USAB (2018),Head of Section (Senate and Examinations) (2019). He also served as the head of administration in University of Dar Salaam Business School (UDBS), Institute of Development Studies (IDS) and
the College of Arts Social Sciences (CoSS). During that time, he performed various human resource management assignments including interview, recruitment, performance management, Corporate Meetings, human resource planning, disciplinary proceedings, and also application of Human Capital Management Information Systems.

Mr. Josephat Buhenyenge is currently serving as a Principal Administrative and Human Resources Officer at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) under the College of Information and Communication Technologies (CoICT).
