Dr. Ellen Ambakisye Kalinga received a PhD degree in Computer Engineering and Information Technology from the University of Dar as Salaam – Tanzania and Brekinge Institute of Technology (BTH) - Sweden in 2011. She graduated her Master of Science (Electronics and Information Technology) of the University of Dar as Salaam in 2002 and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Mysore India in 1990. Her research areas of interest are in e-learning, software engineering and computer engineering. She is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, College of Information and Communication Technologies (CoICT), University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) in Tanzania.
