Emanuel Ngabo is an assistant lecturer of Journalism and Media Studies at the School of Journalism and Mass Communication of the University of Dare es Salaam. His research area is ‘media and democracy’ with focus on election news dynamics like election news sourcing objectivity (MA thesis) and election news framing of candidates and issues (PhD thesis). Other areas of research interests include children (and) media, news fairness, media technology and ethics, Afriethics, language of the news and religion (and) media. At SJMC, Emmanuel Teaches writing, editing, reporting and analysis of news, English for the media, media management and organisation, media ethics and media law, media history (heritage) and media research.
