Theodorah Stanley Munisi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and Advertising from the University of Dar es Salaam (2017) and a Master’s degree in Media Development from the Oslo Metropolitan University in Norway (2024).
She is currently employed by the University of Dar es Salaam as an Assistant Lecturer under the Public Relations Unit. Specializing in teaching Public Relations, Media Relations, and Advertising courses. Also, a researcher of the ´Journalistic Role Performance (JRP) Project´ in the third wave (2025-2029).
Theodorah has participated in several projects as a research assistant, including: The Yearbook on Media Quality in Tanzania from 2020-2024, TBC Audience Research (2024), Mkulima Kwanza (2020).
She has attended conferences such as the Safety of Journalists Conference in Norway (2022-2023) and the UDSM-SJMC EACA Conference (2024), and the Bloomberg Financial Journalism Training in Tanzania (2021).
Theodorah´s scholarly research interests are primarily in gender communication, political communication, sports communication, and health communication.
