Dr. Nassor Ally Nassor is an academic, researcher, and consultant in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering with over 15 years of experience. He holds a PhD in Electronics Engineering and IT from the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), where he lectures in the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering.
He has made significant contributions to higher education through innovative teaching, curriculum development, and mentorship, including the design of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, as well as the coordination of World Bank–funded projects. His consultancy work spans impact studies, industrial attachment guidelines, and collaborations with industry partners such as CRDB Bank on fintech initiatives.
Dr. Nassor’s research covers image processing, robotics, wireless technologies, and online laboratory systems, with publications in leading journals and conferences. He has also trained and conducted research at institutions such as KTH (Sweden), MIT (USA), and MTNL (India).
An advocate for robotics and innovation in Tanzania, he has served as a judge at the World Robotic Olympiad Tanzania Finals and youth hackathons, mentoring young innovators. Fluent in English and Swahili, Dr. Nassor is committed to advancing STEM education, bridging academia and industry, and driving digital transformation in Tanzania and beyond.
