Akilimali John Mwasampinde is a Tutorial Assistant in the Department of Public Law at the University of Dar es Salaam School of Law, having joined the School in June 2025. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from Mzumbe University (2022).
Prior to joining the University of Dar es Salaam, Mr. Mwasampinde served as an Intern at Mzumbe University, where he worked in the capacity of Tutorial Assistant. As a junior academic, Mr. Mwasampinde vows to specialize in Oil & Gas Law (focusing on climate change and cross-border Regulation & Regional integration). He is interested to teach various fields of law including; Private International Law, International Humanitarian Law, Information and Communications Technology Law and Constitutional Law.
