Purificator is a Lecturer in the Department of Food Science and Technology within the College of Agriculture and Food Technology, specializing in food and nutrition sciences, product development, and food safety.

With over 15 years of experience in industrial research, Purificator has a strong background in feasibility studies and quality assurance.

Purificator holds a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology from Sokoine University of Agriculture, a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Dar es Salaam, and a PhD in Life Sciences and Engineering, specializing in Food and Nutritional Sciences, from The Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology.
