Eng. Said Kiemo began his formal education at Igogo B Primary School, where he built a strong foundation in basic education and successfully completed his primary studies. He then proceeded to Mapango Secondary School for his Ordinary Level secondary education, where he undertook a wide range of academic subjects and developed a growing interest in science subjects.
After completing his O-Level education, Eng. Said Kiemo joined Tanga Technical Secondary School to pursue Advanced Level secondary education, specializing in science subjects. During this period, he strengthened his knowledge in core science disciplines, which prepared him for further studies in engineering and agricultural sciences.
Following the successful completion of his secondary education, Eng. Said Kiemo was admitted to Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA), one of Tanzania’s leading institutions in agricultural and engineering studies. He pursued a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering, where he acquired both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in various fields, including agricultural mechanization, irrigation system design and management, soil science and soil mechanics, water quality Analysis.
Throughout his university studies, Eng. Said Kiemo participated in practical training, laboratory work, and field-based learning, which enhanced his technical competence and problem-solving abilities. His academic journey reflects a strong commitment to advancing sustainable agricultural development through innovative engineering solutions.
