Mr. CHARLES CHACHA WAMBURA is a Laboratory Technician II in the Department of Aquaculture (DAT) at the University of Dar es Salaam Tanzania. holds a diploma in fisheries management and technology from FETA Nyegezi campus, Mwanza. Has professional experience in fisheries and aquaculture production, fisheries management, fish technology and support for research and practical training in the field of aquatic science and fisheries.
His role includes hands-on support for both laboratory and field activities, including preparation of materials, assisting staff and students in practical, and carrying out routine laboratory analyses and water quality evaluations. It is responsible for the maintenance and care of aquaculture and laboratory equipment and for ensuring that all activities comply with the established safety and quality standards. It also maintains accurate laboratory records, manages inventories and maintains a clean, secure and well organized working environment conducive to efficient teaching, research and academic activities.
