Biography

Roman Mmanda Fortunatus is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Food Science and Technology, College of Agriculture and Food Technology, University of Dar es Salaam, specializing in Food Nanotechnology. He holds a Master’s degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Florida and a BSc in Food Science and Technology from Sokoine University of Agriculture. He is currently undertaking a PhD at the Adolphe Merkle Institute, University of Fribourg.

Roman has extensive research and field experience in food product development, food analysis, artificial intelligence, and the application of nanotechnology in improving the bioavailability of vitamins.
