Gerald Zachary Paga Tinali

Biography

Dr Gerald Zachary Paga Tinali holds a PhD in Management from the Capital University of Economics and Business and is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Dar es Salaam Business School. He earned an MSc in International Transport and Logistics and a Bachelor of Commerce (Management Science) with Honours from the University of Dar es Salaam, and is a Certified Procurement and Supplies Professional (CPSP). In addition to his academic role, he is an active researcher and consultant with expertise in transportation and logistics management, supply chain management, innovation management, sustainability management, strategic management, and project management. He serves as an external examiner for several universities, is a member of the University of Dar es Salaam Tender Board, and reviews for several academic journals. He is also an academic member of the African Conference on Operations and Supply Chain Management (ACOSCM). Dr Tinali has extensive experience in professional training and capacity building, having designed and delivered numerous programmes in areas such as resilient and adaptive supply chains, green procurement and purchasing, monitoring and evaluation, supply chain performance and benchmarking, strategic sourcing and analytical tools, and research methods and management.
