Biography

Edward George Nkoba is a dedicated Library Officer I with more than ten years of professional experience in library and information services. He holds a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Studies from University of Dar es Salaam, where he developed expertise in information management, information literacy, research, and user-centered library services.

In his current role, he is responsible for providing information resources and publications to students, lecturers, researchers, and staff, ensuring effective access to academic and professional information. His work focuses on enhancing information accessibility, supporting teaching and research activities, and promoting equitable access to knowledge resources.

Throughout his career, Mr. Nkoba has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing library and information services through research, innovation, and advocacy for inclusive access to information. His professional contributions continue to support the development of the library and information profession in Tanzania and beyond.

This study examined the accessibility and utilization of social security information among employees in private institutions, highlighting challenges and opportunities for improving information dissemination.
