Dr. Simon Peter Ngalomba is a Tanzanian scholar, researcher and lecturer in education at the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He is based in the Department of Educational Foundations, Management and Lifelong Learning within the School of Education. His research focuses on higher education policy, academic staff development, educational leadership, internationalization of higher education, entrepreneurship education, e-learning and workforce issues in education. Over the years, Dr. Ngalomba has contributed to scholarly debates on academic staff motivation, job satisfaction, promotion systems, educational leadership preparation, and virtual internationalization in the Global South. Through research, teaching, and community engagement, he has contributed to advancing knowledge of educational management, higher education development and climate change in Tanzania and beyond. His scholarship is particularly recognized for addressing challenges facing universities in developing countries and for proposing policy-relevant solutions to improve educational quality and leadership effectiveness.
