Biography
Ally Muhammad Sango is an academician at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), School of Education, serving in the Department of Educational Foundations, Management and Lifelong Learning, particularly in the Educational Management and Policy Studies Unit. He holds a Master of Arts in Education and a Bachelor of Arts with Education (Honours) from UDSM, as well as a Diploma in Education from Korogwe Teachers’ College. Prior to his transfer to the University of Dar es salaam, he has extensive experience in secondary and higher education, having served as a teacher, head of school and as a part-time lecturer at Eckernforde Tanga University and The Open University of Tanzania, participated in intensive face-to-face teaching sessions. These experiences have strengthened his expertise in teaching, academic mentorship, assessment, and student support. His academic and professional interests focus on educational management, policy studies, job satisfaction and comparative and international education, with particular interest in strengthening educational institutions and promoting the effectiveness and well-being of education professionals.
