Ntimi N. Mtawa is a Lecturer at the University of Dar es Salaam, School of Education, Depart of Educational Foundations Management & Lifelong Learning, School of Education, University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and a Research Fellow at the Higher Education and Human Development Research Group, University of the Free State, Bloemfontein, South Africa. His teaching, research and consultancy works focus on education leadership and management, policy, education governance, higher education and society with particular emphasis on university-community engagement and service-learning. He has interest on issues of education management, leadership and policies, knowledge production, decolonisation, innovation, academic freedom and activism.
