Dr. Hezron Makundi servers a Lecturer in Development Studies at IDS University of Dar es Salaam. He recently completed his Ph.D in social Sciences at the University of Leuven, Belgium. Hezron’s dissertation focused on technology transfer and technological capacity building in Tanzania under the Chinese development cooperation. He holds a bachelor degree from the University of Dar es Salaam, and Msc. From the University of Sussex. Hezron has also amassed experiences through his previous service at the Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH) and Millicom Tanzania Ltd. (TIGO).  Hezron’s research and teaching interests are focused on the developmental aspects of Science and Technology, Industrialization, and entrepreneurship.
