I am delighted to welcome you to the School of Mines and Geosciences, SoMG.

SoMG is quite young; it was founded in September, 2020 with three departments namely; Department of Geoscience (GY), Department of Mining and Mineral Processing Engineering (MMPE) and Department of Petroleum Science and Engineering (PSE). The SoMG community thrives to achieve the highest standards of service as postulated in our Mission and Vision, by producing graduates who can sail with assurance through the highly competitive career world.  As school we are determined to facilitate high standard based on demand driven training, research and consultancy.

From this website we communicate and share information, knowledge and best practices within the school and with all our stakeholders.
