The Marketing and Industrial linkage coordination unit of the University of Dar es Salaam Business School undertakes various key functions related to communications, public relations, industrial linkages and marketing of the Business School. The unit aims to foster a positive and enhanced image of the Business School through improved communication and marketing within and outside the University. The Unit is responsible for marketing the Business School to both the internal and external publics through various marketing/brand and outreach activities.
In particular, the Unit activities, among others, include vetting information and communications such as advertisements and announcements prior to communication to the public; disseminating summaries of school activities to the relevant stakeholders through various platforms such as news bulletin, promoting the School at events such as exhibitions, conferences, and managing and updating information on the School website. In addition, the unit creates and manages internal and external marketing and promotion strategies, including social media strategies, to ensure effective sharing of relevant information on UDBS programme, products and services. It also implements and oversees plans and activities under the UDBS Corporate Social Responsibility as well as the overall outreach activities.
