Benjamin Mosses Sakita holds a doctorate in Logistics, with a specialization in the digital transformation of maritime ports. He is a scholar and educator in business logistics and supply chain management, with research interests spanning port digitalization, supply chain systems, and supply chain finance. His work explores how digital technologies, institutional practices, and financial mechanisms shape efficiency, transparency, and performance in logistics and maritime networks.
He has teaching and research experience from universities in Tanzania and Norway, where he has contributed to undergraduate and postgraduate education in logistics and related fields. Beyond academia, he has engaged in applied consultancy and capacity-building activities with public institutions and development organizations, focusing on training, curriculum development, and logistics awareness.
Prior to his academic career, he worked as an auditor at PwC, where he gained professional experience in assurance and financial reporting.
