Mr. Ezekiel Emanuel Saidi has graduated and awarded a Bachelor Degree of Arts in Kiswahili in 2020 and a Master's Degree in Kiswahili in 2023 at the University of Dar es Salaam. He is currently working as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Kiswahili Language and Linguistics at the Institute of Kiswahili Studies of the University of Dar es Salaam.

He prefers on teaching linguistics courses, especially Swahili Phonology, Syntax, Morphology, Semantics and Pragmatics. In addition, he has been teaching a course on “Mbinu za Ufundishaji Kiswahili kwa Wageni” and Kiswahili Syntax at Tumaini University Dar es Salaam College.

In order to strengthen professionally in the Kiswahili field, he has successfully attended various conferences that have given him experience and knowledge related to the development of the Kiswahili language. For instance; On September 2019, 12-14 he attended the Swahili conference titled "Kiswahili na Utamaduni" held at Arusha Tanzania under the supervision of the National Swahili Council (Baraza la Kiswahili la Taifa-BAKITA) and the College of MS-TCDC. Also, on January 2021, 19-20 he attended a Swahili conference titled "Kiswahili Day" held at Dodoma Tanzania under the supervision of the National Kiswahili Council (BAKITA). Likewise, on June 2022, 3-5 he attended the Swahili conference titled "Kiswahili and the development of Science and Technology" held at Tanga Tanzania under the supervision of the Tanzania Swahili Language and Literature Association (CHALUFAKITA). Apart from that, Ezekiel is translator of the Kiswahili-English language texts and vice versa. Some of the institutions he has worked with are WAWOSA, MCT-Technology and Tan-Concepts. In addition, he is an editor of Kiswahili and English language texts.
