Research:

Social and emotional learning and development of children and adolescence,  home environment contributions to literacy and numeracy development, role of pre-primary education in preparation for formal learning, school readiness in both academic      and non-academic areas, parents involvement in children’s learning, parental digital literacy and children’s learning, STEAM learning in children.

Projects:

Involved in LEARN Plus Research Project led by Plan International on  implementing pre-primary School Readiness Programme (SRP) to children in hard to reach areas at Kisarawe District in Pwani Region.

 

Participated in research project led by USAID, Purdue University and University of Dodoma in Tanzania Early Grade Social and Emotional Learning and Phonics-Based Learning Literacy Learning Agenda Tanzania SEL Project). The study was done in ten regions in Tanzania mainland and Zanzibar namely: Mtwara, Mwanza, Singida, Morogor, Iringa, Unguja, Pemba, Ruvuma, Manyara and Songwe.

 

Involved in research by supervisor on UNICEF Organization on Satellite Project on improving school readiness skills to out of school children.

                               

Involved in research by UNESCO and EXPRIZE project on Implementation of global learning project by using digital platforms, for the purpose of improving early learning through innovative technologies in Tanzania, organized by UNESCO.
