ADMISSION INTO A MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

(MBA) DEGREE PROGRAMME – 2019/20 INTAKE

The University of Dar es Salaam invites applications for admission into the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree programme

Requirements

MBA Degree Entry Requirements

The MBA programme is open to applicants with different academic backgrounds, including (but not limited to) business, management, social sciences, animal sciences, humanities, natural sciences, engineering, architecture, lawyers, medicine, development studies and general social studies, etc.  The general entry requirements are:-

1. A first or second class degree of the University of Dar es Salaam or its equivalent from another approved University or higher learning institution. The minimum GPA requirement is 2.7 

OR

1. Candidates with a pass degree may be considered if:
   • • They have at least 2 years working experience after graduation, and
     • They have evidence of post-graduation training lasting at least six months.

OR

1. An Advanced Diploma from a recognized higher learning institution with a minimum of upper second class PLUS a Postgraduate Diploma.

OR

1. Have a recognized professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, CPA, CPSP, CIB, MCIM, CMA, etc.

In addition to the above general entry requirements, students intending to join MBA through the Executive mode need to have accumulated working experience of at least 3 years at managerial positions.
